Bob Ore began doing restoration on classic cars in the late 1960s as a hobby. After working as a locomotive designer for General Electric for 15 years, in 1982 he created his first company Tri-State Metal Cleaning. He has since grown to add Qual Krom and Bob Ore Restorations (all under the umbrella name of Ore Enterprises, Inc.). His son, Jason Ore, has also joined the family business by opening Ore’s 955 Automotive, specializing in high performance engines and engine restoration.

Unfortunately, we can't. It is a different plating process.
We stick to the original, traditional "Hexvalient" chrome. Most other shops use "Trivalient" chrome that does not match the color and shade of most parts original chrome or stainless steel.
We can provide a "ballpark" price, but for an official quote we need to see the part and its condition. After the quote, an additional work to complete the job we signed up for comes at no additional charge.
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to start work. Shipping and the balance are to be paid upon completion. Payment can be cash, check, money order, or credit card (Mastercard and Visa only).
Parts can be shipped through the USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex. Please make sure you have an inventory list with your name, address, phone number, model name and year, and the name of each part. Or if you're local, come on down!
Turnaround time varies, but usually anywhere from a few weeks for smaller projects or parts, to a few months for larger.
